Holidays in January, February, March

There is only one holiday in January and that is Republic Day. With the year 2021 coming up on Tuesday 26th January you can take a Monday off and plan a 4 day holiday. Then there is no holiday in February this year. There are 2 holidays coming up in the month of March. Mahashivaratri is coming up on Thursday 11th March while Holi holiday is coming up on Sunday 28th March.

April, May and June

In the year 2021, the month of April is the only holiday. April 2 is Good Friday, April 14 is Ambedkar Jayanti and April 21 is Ram Navami. Both of these holidays are coming up on Wednesdays. In the month of May, Wednesday, May 12, is the holiday of Eid-ul-Fitr, while Wednesday, May 26, is the holiday of Buddha Purnima. There is no holiday in the month of June.

July

There is only one holiday in July, 2021. Wednesday, July 21 of this month is the festival of Eid-ul-Juha (Goat Eid).

August, September

This year people will not get to enjoy the holiday of 15th August as this day is Sunday. August 19 is the month of Moharram, so you can take a Friday off and plan a trip somewhere. This year Janmashtami festival is coming up on Monday 30th August. September is no holiday.

October

Gandhi Jayanti is on a Saturday in the month of October on 2nd October. Agrasen Jayanti is on Thursday 7th October. Friday, October 15 is the festival of Dussehra. This week you can plan a three-day vacation. Eid-e-Milad is on Tuesday, October 19 and Maharshi Valmiki Jayanti is on Wednesday, October 20.

November and December

The festival of Diwali in 2021 is coming on Thursday, November 4. This week too you can plan to take a Friday holiday and go for a walk. With the arrival of Christmas on Saturday, December 25, 2021, people will have less of a holiday.
