Many body ailments can be relieved through yoga. But in today’s busy lifestyle there is not much time to do yogasana. It is necessary to do some asanas which relieve a lot of difficulties at once. The list of these asanas also includes the butterfly asana. Also called Baddhakonasana. Doing this one asana relieves a lot of problems like being overweight, stomach and leg problems. This asana is also very beneficial for pregnant women.
How to do Titli Asana (Baddhakonasana)
To do this asana, sit in the position of Dandasana. Then bend the knees and join the soles of the feet in a posture of mutual salutation. Make sure the Thais muscles stay in relax mode. Slowly move the knee up and down. Try to keep the knees touching the ground as much as possible.
This asana is called butterfly asana because we keep waving our legs like the wings of a butterfly. There is a need to be careful in doing so. Doing this asana should be avoided if someone has a knee injury or sciatica problem.
Doing butterfly asanas helps in reducing the fat accumulated inside the thymus. At the same time, the problem of constant standing up to work and fatigue can be eliminated. Doing this asana for pregnant women helps a lot during childbirth. Doing this asana clears the intestines. At the same time doing this asana also helps in urinary related ailments.
