National Simplicity Day 2020: Learn the importance of simplicity day in today's modern times

New delhi date. 12 July 2020, Sunday

As the pace of life slowed down due to the global epidemic, the outlook changed. The importance of the same things in real life that we are vying for is understood in these difficult times. A simple life, a simple lifestyle that we never even thought about peacefully, has now inadvertently become part of our daily routine.

'Simplicity Day' is celebrated on July 12 every year. The birthday of Henry David Thoreau, a well-known American writer, poet, environmentalist, historian and philosopher, is celebrated on July 12 as 'Simplicity Day'. Henry David was born on July 12, 1817. Thorre was an advocate of living a simple life and he also wrote several books on the subject. His most famous book, Walden, is a reflection of living a simple life around nature. He gave the message to the world to live a 'simple life' and he believed that the solution to all problems lies only in simplicity.

Importance of Simplicity Day:

In modern times our world is surrounded by mobile phones, laptops and other gadgets, in which simplicity day is very important in today's age. We rarely have time to find peace in today's busy lifestyle, so a day of simplicity gives you the opportunity to keep your favorite gadgets away from you and truly experience every moment of life and truly understand and enjoy the precious time of life.

Herald Maslow, a well-known American psychologist, gave the theory of 'Maslow Pyramid'. In which the order of the basic needs of the person was shown. It showed that meeting these needs leads to life complexity. As such, the need for job security, income concern, respect, fame under the need for security was demonstrated in theory. These are the requirements that can lead a person to lie or cheat. Self-realization means peace of mind. This is also a necessity, which keeps the creative pressure on the person. But how many people choose a simple life even in the midst of their problems with their skills and understanding.

When you live a simple life ...

- Needs don't grow, you only buy what you really need.

- Health is the top priority. Concentrating on it also reduces stress.

- Accept reality and avoid becoming more reactive. The decision can be made wisely.

- Give importance to budget. You have to compromise less.

- Worry about the future but you can live the present with satisfaction. You can keep your day safe.

- Your relationship becomes stronger and more meaningful. People who live a simple life are important in maintaining their relationship by doing their duty. It is not their intention to impress anyone.

- Take care of yourself. Don't immerse yourself in gazettes or other material things. Ambitions do not overwhelm those who live a simple life.

- Enjoy only in simple things. Not paying attention to unnecessary things that cause more peace of mind than expected.

Thus, it is a bit difficult to live without checking email in the midst of your work pressure, without posting work on social media, which has become a habit of everyday life, or to spend the day without watching favorite TV shows. But one day try trying to unplug yourself from your laptop and smartphone. So maybe you can get a surprising result.

Simplicity day encourages you to stay away from all the problems of life, so take some time for yourself by staying away from technology to make everything easier.
