Chandigarh, Ta. 14 May 2020, Thursday

The mental state of those trapped in their homes has been disturbed for 51 days since the lockdown was imposed due to the Corona epidemic. People are so frustrated with the strange kind of fear, future instability, stress and strange worries that they have thoughts of committing suicide.

A survey conducted by the Mental Health Division of the Haryana Health Department has revealed this. Seeing this survey report, the health department has become alert and at the same time is working hard to alleviate the frustration of the people.

Following the orders of the Haryana government, the Mental Health Division of the Health Department has deployed a team of 211 health experts and volunteer volunteers to help and counsel the depressed people. The director of the Mental Health Service and state program officer, Dr. Led by Veena Singh, the team is working with a state helpline number 1057.

People were distracted by the suddenly created conditions

Dr. According to Veena Singh, the idea of committing suicide is worrying among working people, elders and people who are already suffering from an illness. To bring such people out of despair, the Haryana government has started a special mental exercise.

The helpline number is getting calls every day about this kind of problem and experts are solving it. Depressed people are being treated with various methods of psychiatric treatment and at the same time trained specialists are also giving them counseling over the phone. Fear of future instability, anxiety and epidemics due to the sudden situation is dominating the mood of the people which is not right.

In these circumstances, people should stay away from all rumors, distracting and frightening information-suggestions and concentrate on the policies, efforts and requests of the government because life is not going to end like this.

Anger at the children, fear of death increased

According to the survey, working people who have to sit at home are more angry with children. They seem to grow very violently on the general storm of children. Not only this, cases of child abuse are also on the rise so that quarrels with their wives have also escalated which later leads to domestic violence. Also, people who are suffering from a disease are worried that they will not die from a coronary infection.

Consider these words of the experts
